Case layout design – too much stuff!
A lot of customers want to put too much stuff in their case. They lay it all in there and think it fits, even though some things are too close to the case perimeter, and many items are too close to each other. Distance between items should be minimum 1/2″, and 3/4″ is better. Minimum to the perimeter of the case is 3/4″, and 1″ is better. Almost all cases are tapered from top to bottom, so you lose 1/4″ to 3/8″ in usable size, even more in large cases. I try to accommodate everyone, but regularly have to remove items in order to make the layout work.
