Foam Cutting Equipment Upgrade

I’ve been using a CNC router to cut foam since I started this business 13 years ago. I am going to add a new machine that will increase our production rate and capacity significantly. In addition, there will be way less noise and almost no dust. I can’t wait. Ecocam calls their EOT-4 an Electric Oscillation Tool, but I call it an OTK, for Oscillating Tangential Knife, some people call the whole machine a Digital Flatbed Knife Cutter. The blade travels up and down about 1/8″ at a rate of 3000 to 7000 strokes per minute. This is going to be a real game changer for us.
